New Technology: A Change for the Better

mobank is changing and improving its transaction processing technology to offer mobank customers enhanced capabilities and even more advanced security.

As a result of these changes, mobank customers will have faster and easier online access to their information; online banking tools that are both more capable and more user-friendly; and strong, state-of-the-art security to protect their money and information.

There will be some minor inconveniences during the transition to the new system. For instance, customers will have to create and enter new passwords. However, one thing that makes mobank different is the high level of personal customer service. mobank employees will work extended hours to ensure they are available to personally walk customers through the transition process.

"We are confident our customers will agree the disruption was worth it when they begin using the advanced features and tools of the new system," said Grant Burcham, mobank's President and CEO.

"Our new system will help us continue to provide the premier service our customers have come to expect, while better enabling us to protect their confidential information and offer the most up-to-date products and services," Burcham added.

There will be no interruptions to the in-person services available at any of the branches during the conversion period. However, we will extend our business hours during the conversion weekend to assist customers by phone and with e-mail requests. The extended hours are Friday, Feb. 25th until 9 p.m., and Saturday, Feb. 26th from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Please call us at 816-881-8200 with any questions.

Better Access

One of the major benefits is an expanded ATM and point-of-sale transaction network through the NYCE Network. Effective Feb. 28th, mobank customers will have access to even more surcharge-free ATMs nationwide through the InterCept and MoneyPass networks. Our customers can continue to use their current ATMs, as well as the additional surcharge-free ATMs that can be found by utilizing the ATM locators at http://surchargefree.com/atmloc.htm.

Our new eBanking system provides 24/7/365 access to statements and balances. Also, there are tools available to business customers that include check imaging, data export, account transfer, wire transfer, stop payment, ACH payments and more.

The Transition

The conversion to the new system will begin Thursday Feb. 24 th at 4:30 p.m. and continue through Sunday Feb. 27 th. During this transition period, online Bill Pay and other online transactions will not be available. Availability of these services will resume on Monday Feb. 28 th. Again, mobank employees will be available by phone during normal and extended hours or in person at our branches during regular business hours to answer questions and provide assistance. Please make sure you complete all of your necessary online transactions before 4:30 p.m. on the 24th.

While your bill pay payees and any recurring and future dated payments will be transferred to the new system, your bill pay history will not be available in the new eBanking bill pay service. You will want to download this information from the current system prior to Feb. 24th. For assistance in downloading your bill pay history, please contact us at 816-881-8270.

Access to online and phone banking will be restored on Monday Feb. 28th.

Changing Passwords, "Favorites"

The new system will also include security enhancements to our eBanking and Phone Banking systems. These security upgrades will require customers to create and enter new passwords. For assistance with your password, please call us at 816-881-8200.

If you currently have the existing Internet Banking system bookmarked in your browser "favorites", you will need to log into eBanking through the mobank homepage on or after Monday, February 28th and refresh your "favorite" with the updated site.

Statements

Final bank statements from our current technology provider will be mailed to all customers on Friday Feb. 25th. The first statements from our new provider will be mailed at their regularly scheduled statement dates, beginning Feb. 28th. Your statement will appear in a new format.
